We remove the bumper when removing the radiator, intercooler and other types of repair work
To complete the task, you will need tools: a TORX T25 wrench, screwdrivers, a cap puller.
We prepare the car for the job.
Removing the license plate
Unscrew the two screws located under the license plate
Unscrew the wing liner fastening screws at the bottom of the wing
Unscrew the screws to the side of the bumper
We unscrew the three fastening screws in the middle lower part
We unscrew one screw on the left and right of fastening the side parts of the bumper to the plastic base of the radiator frame
Unscrew the two screws securing the fender liner at the bottom of the bumper
We unscrew the four screws of the upper bumper attachment
Disengage the side parts of the bumper
We remove the bumper panel from under the headlights and remove the bumper
If necessary, remove the bumper reinforcement.
To do this, unscrew two bolts on the left and right and remove the bumper amplifier.
Dismantling the bumper
To make it more convenient to disassemble and avoid breakage of the plastic parts of the bumper, disassembly and assembly of the front bumper must be carried out when fixing it in a special device.
To avoid breakage of the fastening elements of plastic parts, it is necessary to strictly observe the procedure for disassembling and assembling the bumper.
Remove the bumper
Unscrew ten screws 1, Figure 13, fastening the radiator grille to other parts of the bumper.
We disengage four latches 5 and two latches 4, fastening the radiator lining to the bottom panel, six latches 2 and two latches 3 fastening the lining to the sidewalls and remove the radiator lining.
We disengage the two latches 4 for attaching the lower panel to the sidewalls, move the lower panel relative to the sidewalls up so that the protrusions on the lower panel disengage with the sidewalls, and disconnect the bumper parts.
We assemble the bumper in the reverse order.
Removing and installing wheel arch liners
You will need tools: screwdrivers and a cap puller.
Unscrew the wing liner fastening screws at the bottom of the wing
Unscrew the screws securing the fender liner to the side of the bumper
Unscrew the two screws securing the fender liner to the lower side of the bumper
Pry off with a screwdriver
Pull out the spacer pin of the rear fender liner holder
We take out the holder from the holes in the wheel arch liner and wheel arch
Also remove the front holder
Remove the liner. Install the fender liner in reverse order.
