The diagnostic connector is located on the fuse and relay mounting block in the passenger compartment

To diagnose the Cummins ISF2.8 electronic engine control system, it is recommended to use the Cummins INELINE 5 or INELINE 6 diagnostic adapter with a set of connecting wires and a personal computer with INELINE version 7.3 and higher installed.

Minimum computer requirements:

  • - Intel Pentium 4 processor - at least 2 GHz;
  • —at least 1 GB of RAM;
  • — hard drive of at least 40 GB;
  • — free hard disk space of at least 6 GB;
  • — display SVGA (1024x768 pixel) color;
  • —Windows XP operating system is installed;
  • — INELINE software version 7.3 and higher is installed;
  • — I/O ports for USB 2.0 port, COM port (RS-232 serial);
  • —DVD RUM drive (for software installation);
  • — keyboard, mouse.

When diagnosing engines, you must use the instruction manual for INELINE 5 diagnostic equipment, the user manual for the INELINE program.

  • 111 - Critical internal engine control unit failure - logic unit failure
  • 115 - No speed and crankshaft position sensor signal
  • 122 - Intake pipe pressure sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short circuit to high voltage circuit
  • 123 - Intake pipe pressure sensor circuit - voltage below normal or short circuit to low voltage circuit
  • 133 - Accelerator pedal position sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short to high voltage circuit
  • 134 - Accelerator pedal position sensor circuit - voltage below normal or short to low voltage circuit
  • 135 - Oil pressure sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short to high voltage circuit
  • 141 - Oil pressure sensor circuit - voltage below normal or short circuit to low voltage circuit
  • 143 - Oil pressure sensor - data is accurate, but below normal (critical condition of the engine protection system)
  • 144 - Coolant temperature sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short to high voltage circuit

  • 146 - Coolant temperature sensor circuit - data is accurate, but above normal

  • 153 - Intake pipe temperature sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short circuit to high voltage circuit

  • 155 - The temperature in the intake pipe - the data is accurate, but above the norm (critical condition of the engine protection system)

  • 221 - Atmospheric pressure sensor circuit - voltage above normal or short circuit to high voltage circuit

  • 238 - Crankshaft speed sensor supply circuit - voltage below normal or short circuit to low voltage circuit

  • 295 - Atmospheric pressure sensor signal is erratic or missing

  • 436 - The chaotic nature of the temperature sensor signal in the intake pipe when the switch (lock) is first turned to the “ON” position or when the engine is running
