In this article, we will cover the replacement of the emergency oil pressure warning light sensor, the replacement of the parking brake warning light switch, the replacement of the brake light switch, the replacement of the reverse switch and the replacement of the fuel gauge sensor

In previous articles, we looked at how to replace the dashboard switches (article - Replacing the instrument panel and horn switches Gazelle Next) and the article - replacing engine control system sensors (article - Replacing Cummins ISF2.8 EMS sensors Gazelle Next)

Replacing the emergency pressure drop sensor

Replacing GAZelle Next switches and sensors

The sensor is screwed into the oil passage of the front cover of the cylinder block above the oil filter

Disconnect the negative battery terminal

Loosen the sensor

Unscrew it from the oil channel

Install the new sensor in reverse order.

Replacing the parking brake switch

Tools required: 11 wrench, Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the cover

Disconnect the wire block from the output

Unscrew the switch from the bracket on the parking brake lever

Install the switch in reverse order.

Replacing the brake light switch

Check the brake light switch mounted on the brake pedal bracket. Press the brake pedal all the way.

When the switch stem is fully extended, the brake lights should be on, and when the stem is pushed in 4-5 mm (press with your finger), they should go out.

Otherwise, replace the switch.

We press the latch and disconnect the block of wires from the switch

Install the switch in reverse order

We adjust the position of the switch using two nuts so that when the brake pedal is pressed, the brake lights light up, and when the pedal is released, they go out.

Reversing light switch replacement

The lamp should light up when you press the switch ball with your finger, while the ball stroke should be 1-2 mm.

Install the switch in the reverse order, rearranging the sealing ring.

Replacing the fuel level sensor

The fuel gauge sensor is part of the fuel pickup located in the fuel tank.

The sensor must be replaced if the fuel gauge in the instrument cluster changes its readings randomly for no apparent reason.
