Replacing the outside temperature sensor on a Renault Megane 2

To replace the sensor, you will need a soldering iron.

Removal

Remove the mirror glass using a special tool (Cag. 1363) (Fig. 1).

Remove the mirror housing by pressing on the tabs (Fig. 2).

Disconnect the sensor from the bracket.

Cut the wires (Fig. 3).

Installation

Solder the two temperature sensor wires.

Insulate the two sensor wires with heat shrink sleeves.

Install the mirror housing.
