Preparing the car for the task
Removal
Unscrew the two screws securing the front panel
After moving the front seats, unscrew the two panel mounting screws
Removing the front panel together with two seat heating switches
Removing the lever panel
Unscrew the two screws and remove the central panel, pulling it out by hand by the central part
Disconnect the socket connector from the central panel
Unscrew the four screws and remove the console from the bracket
Remove the movement cable and the locking cable
Remove the control cable clamp and pin from the selector lever
Unscrew the selector lever mounting bolts and disconnect connector
Remove the selector lever assembly
Remove the clamp and unscrew the flange nuts from the sides of the gearbox
Remove the gearbox control cable
Remove the shift cable and the locking cable
Installation
Apply a thin layer of grease to the inside of the adjustable sleeve.
Lubricant: SAE SAEJ310, NLGI №0
Move the selector lever and gear shift switch to the N position and install the transmission control cable.
When connecting the control cable to the transmission mounting bracket, install the clamp so that it comes into contact with the control cable in the position shown in the figure.
Install the selector lever assembly and connect the connector.
When connecting the control cable to the selector lever mounting bracket, install the clamp so that it goes into contact with the control cable.
Install the control cable, locking cable and the travel cable mounting bolt.
Install the console and screw in the eight screws.
Connect the socket connector, install the center panel and screw in the two screws.
Install the control panel.
Install the two seat heater switches on the center panel.
