How to remove and install the rear suspension cam Mazda 6

We remove the rear suspension knuckle for replacement, as well as for replacing silent blocks

Remove the rear suspension spring and the brake disc, as described in previous articles

Remove the rear wheel hub

Unscrew and remove the bolt securing the upper arm to the knuckle

We unscrew and remove the bolt securing the front lower arm of the rear suspension to the knuckle

We unscrew two bolts and one nut of the suspension to the fist

Then remove the rear suspension knuckle

Install the fist in reverse order

Fastener tightening torques:

• - nut of the rear lower arm bolt to the rear suspension knuckle 82-116 Nm;
• -bolt for fastening the trailing arm to the rear suspension knuckle 82-116 Nm;
• - shock absorber mounting bolt to rear suspension knuckle 86-116 Nm;
• - rear wheel hub nut 176-235 Nm;
• - wheel hub bolts 103-133 Nm

After installing all the parts, we check the wheel alignment
