The caliper and disc are replaced in case of wear or breakdowns
Preparing the car for the task
Remove the tank plug and pump out the brake fluid using a rubber bulb or syringe
Removing the front wheel from the side of the work being done
Unscrew the bolt fitting and disconnect the brake hose from the caliper
We substitute a container for draining the remaining brake fluid from the hose and the working cylinder of the caliper
Unscrew the two bolts securing the guide pads to the rotary knuckle
The location of the mounting bolts of the guide pads are shown by arrows
Removing the caliper from the guide pads
We remove the caliper of the second wheel in the same way
Installing the calipers in reverse order
Before installing the mounting bolts of the guide pads to the rotary fist, we apply an anaerobic thread retainer to the thread of the bolts
After installation, we restore the level of brake fluid in the tank of the main cylinder
Front wheel brake disc replacement
Removing the wheel from the side of the disc being replaced
And remove the caliper, as described above, without disconnecting the brake hose
We fix the caliper by the upper lever with a wire
Unscrew the two screws securing the brake disc to the hub
And remove the brake disc
Before installing the disc, we clean the sealing surfaces of the hub and disc from rust and scale
Installing all the parts in reverse order
