The caliper and disc are replaceable in case of wear or breakage
Preparing the car for the task

Remove the reservoir cap and pump out the brake fluid using a rubber bulb or syringe

Remove the front wheel from the side you are working on

Unscrew the fitting bolt and disconnect the brake hose from the caliper

We substitute a container to drain the remaining brake fluid from the hose and the working cylinder of the caliper

We unscrew the two bolts securing the guide pads to the steering knuckle

The location of the bolts for fastening the guide pads are shown by arrows

Remove the caliper from the pad guide
Remove the second wheel caliper in the same way
Install the calipers in reverse order
Before installing the bolts for fastening the guide pads to the steering knuckle, we apply an anaerobic thread locker to the threads of the bolts
After installation, restore the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir
Replacing the brake disc of the front wheel

Remove the wheel from the side of the disk to be replaced
And remove the caliper as described above without disconnecting the brake hose

Fix the caliper to the upper arm with wire

We unscrew the two screws securing the brake disc to the hub

And remove the brake disc


Before installing the disk, we clean the mating surfaces of the hub and disk from rust and scale
Install all parts in reverse order
