Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Disconnect the battery cables, starting with the negative terminal.
Use a refrigerant filling station to drain the refrigerant.

Remove the front bumper and front panel.

Remove the bolts for fastening the pipes to the receiver-drier (Fig. 2).
Disconnect the pipes.
Insert plugs in all openings.
Remove the receiver-drier by lifting it.
If aluminum particles or If the plastic is damaged, the compressor's pump section is damaged.
In this case, replacing the receiver alone will not yield a positive result.
The compressor will need to be replaced and the system flushed.
When purchasing a new receiver-dryer, ensure that the housing openings are tightly sealed with the service plugs.
A receiver-dryer stored without the plugs is not suitable for use, even if it is brand new.
Open the service plugs only immediately before installing the receiver-dryer.
Installation
Installation is the reverse of removal.
After replacing the receiver-dryer, add 15 ml of the specified oil to the volume of oil collected.
Replace the sealing gaskets.
To facilitate installation of the pipelines Lubricate their ends with air conditioning oil.
Tighten the pipe mounting bolts (10 Nm).
Charge the refrigeration circuit with refrigerant using a charging station.
Check the air conditioning system for proper operation by running the electric fan at maximum speed.
Check for leaks.
