Place the vehicle on a lift

Disconnect the battery

Remove the upper engine cover and the air intake grille.

Remove the two fastening bolts and the air filter access panel, as well as the air intake niche wall fastening bolts (Fig. 1).

Remove the air intake mounting bolts (Fig. 2).

Remove the air intake niche wall.

Remove the battery.

Remove the battery tray.

Remove the air filter housing.

Use a syringe to remove brake fluid from the reservoir until its level is below the master cylinder inlet.

Lift the retainer (Fig. 3).

Pull the clutch line off the fitting one click.

Place a rag under the bleed hole.

Depress the clutch pedal by hand to remove fluid from the master cylinder and the line.

Lift the retainer (see Fig. 3).

Disconnect the line from the slave cylinder.

Insert plugs into the holes.

Press the retainer with your hand while pulling the pipe (Fig. 4).

Do not pull on the retainer. If any incorrect operation is detected, the line must be replaced.

Pull the clutch hydraulic line off the fitting one click.

Place a rag under the bleed hole.

Press the pedal by hand to remove fluid from the master cylinder and line.

Press the retainer.

Disconnect the line from the slave cylinder.

Insert plugs into the holes.

Installation

Check the condition of the gaskets.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Bleed the air from the clutch hydraulic system.

Check the operation of the clutch.

Connect the battery.
