Removing the Bracket
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift
Drain the refrigerant from the refrigeration circuit.
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the A/C compressor.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the refrigerant pressure sensor.

Disconnect the line from the A/C compressor and the A/C system line between the compressor and the receiver-drier (Fig. 1).
Be sure to plug the openings in the lines and the pressure reducer to prevent moisture from entering the system.
Remove the A/C compressor mounting bolts.
Remove the A/C compressor.

Remove the multi-function bracket mounting bolts (Fig. 2.)
Remove the multi-function bracket.
Installing the bracket
Install the multi-function bracket.
Tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
Install the generator.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Connect the battery.
Fill the refrigeration circuit with refrigerant.
Check the air conditioner operation.
