Reducer with tubular adjustable valve Renault Megane 2
Due to its design, the tubular adjustable valve is a non-replaceable element (Fig. 1)

If the tubular expansion valve is faulty, replace the line connecting the condenser to the evaporator.
Removing and installing the pressure sensor
Removal:
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Disconnect the battery cables, starting with the negative terminal.
NOTE
The automatic shut-off valve isolates the circuit from the atmosphere during removal, so there is no need to drain the refrigerant from the refrigeration circuit.
Remove the front bumper.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the pressure sensor (Fig. 2).
Remove the pressure sensor.
The three-function pressure sensor, installed at the condenser outlet, provides protection for the refrigeration circuit:
- – the compressor power supply circuit opens when the pressure drops to: 2 bar,
- – the compressor power supply circuit opens when the pressure rises to: 27 bar.
The sensor transmits the refrigerant pressure value in the refrigeration circuit to the injection system control unit.
The injection system control unit controls the electric fans of the engine cooling system depending on the high pressure value in the refrigeration circuit. and vehicle speed.

Installation
Installation is performed in reverse order.
Connect the battery and perform programming.
Check for leaks.
