We remove the car lights for replacement and for access to other parts and assemblies
Removing and installing rear light
The rear light consists of two parts, one of which is fixed on the body, and the second on the trunk lid
We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal
Opening the trunk lid
Pull the luggage compartment cover handle and remove the cover
Remove the flap of the luggage compartment upholstery
Through the hole in the upholstery of the side of the trunk, unscrew the three nuts securing the lamp
We move the lamp back, disengaging the latch from the holder on the body
Remove the lantern from the body and deploy it
We press the lock of the wire block and disconnect the block from the connector of the brake and side lights LEDs
In the same way, disconnect the wire block from the turn signal lamp socket and remove the lamp
Install the lantern in reverse order
Replacing the light on the trunk lid
Opening the trunk lid
Pry off the hatch cover of the tailgate with a screwdriver and remove the cover
Squeeze the retainer of the wire block and disconnect the block from the reversing lamp socket (fog light lamp)
We unscrew the two nuts securing the lamp to the trunk lid

Remove the lantern, removing the latches on its edge from engagement with the opening in the cover
The location of the latches is shown by arrows
Install the rear light on the trunk lid in reverse order
Replacing the side turn signal lamp (turn signal repeater)
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Move the canopy back and, overcoming the resistance of the spring retainer, remove it from the hole in the wing
Press on the lock of the wire block and disconnect the block from the terminals of the lamp
Install the repeater in reverse order
Replacing license plate lights
Remove the lining of the tailgate
Press the lock of the license plate light wire block and disconnect the block from the lamp leads
The arrows show the mountings for the license plate lights under the tailgate lining
Squeeze the lantern latches, push the lantern shank into the hole in the tailgate panel
Remove the lantern from the socket in the tailgate lining
Install the lantern in reverse order
