How to remove and install the rear doors of a Mazda 6 car

We remove the rear doors of the car for replacement, as well as for repair

Removing the tailgate opening limiter

Preparing the car

Raise the glass and remove the upholstery and rear door mounting panel

Unscrew the bolt securing the limiter to the middle pillar

We unscrew the two nuts securing the limiter to the front end of the door

Remove the limiter through the rear door opening

Removing and installing the rear door

We unscrew the bolt securing the rear door opening limiter to the middle pillar

Remove the protective cover from the rear door wire block

Disconnect the block of wires from the block of the common wiring harness

Holding the door, unscrew the upper bolts of the door hinge

Unscrew the lower bolts of the door hinge

Remove the door

Install the door in reverse order
