We remove the rear glass to repair the door or to replace the glass

We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal

Remove the door upholstery as described in the previous article

Pry off with a screwdriver and take out the plug of the technological hole

We connect the block of wires for controlling the rear door window regulator to the control unit (the block was disconnected when the door upholstery was removed)

Install the rear door glass in a position in which the glass-to-slider bolt will be located opposite the hole in the rear door mounting panel

Pry off the retainer with a screwdriver, move it and remove the cap for fixing the fixed glass lining

Pry off with a screwdriver and remove the plug from the technological hole of the door panel

Unscrew the bottom bolt

We unscrew the middle bolt, and the upper screw of the glass guide

Remove the rear window guide

Holding the glass with your hand, unscrew the bolt securing the glass caps to the slider

Be careful not to drop the bolt inside the door

Remove the glass from the door, pulling it up and turning it in the doorway

If necessary, remove the fixed glass

Install the rear door glass and all removed parts in reverse order
