Brake pads are replaced when the lining wear is less than 2 mm, or a squeak appears during braking, which is caused by the pad wear limit indicator
Brake pads must be replaced in a set of 4, two on each side
Before replacing the brake pads, check the brake fluid level in the reservoir of the master brake cylinder.
If the level is close to the MAX mark, you need to pump out part of the liquid, after replacing the pads with new ones, the liquid level will rise.
We prepare the car and remove the wheel from the side of the work performed
We insert a screwdriver between the inner brake pad and the piston of the working cylinder and push the piston into the cylinder
We unscrew the bolt of the lower guide pin, keeping the finger from turning
Raise the caliper up and remove the guide pin from the hole in the guide pad
Remove the lower and upper clamps

Remove the outer and inner brake pads
If necessary, remove the outer and inner pads from the inner pad
Only one lining is placed on the outer brake shoe, if necessary, remove it
Check the condition of the protective rubber covers of the guide pins. We replace damaged covers
Lubricating the guide pin with grease
Before installing the caliper guide pin, lubricate its threads with an anaerobic threadlocker
In the same way, we replace the brake pads of the second front wheel

Check and, if necessary, add brake fluid to the reservoir
