We prepare the car and remove the battery and the air filter mounting shelf

Raise the wire block retainer and disconnect the block from the steering control unit

Press the lock of the second block and disconnect the block of wires from the block

We unscrew the two bolts of the upper and two bolts of the lower fastening of the control unit to the bracket

Remove the steering control unit from the bracket

Pay attention to the markings on the control unit. To replace, you need to purchase the same

Install the control unit and all parts in reverse order

Replacing the torque sensor

To replace the sensor:

  • - remove the engine crankcase protection;
  • - disconnect the negative wire from the battery;
  • - remove the subframe of the front suspension assembly with the steering gear, as indicated in the article "removing the subframe"

We unscrew the three bolts securing the torque sensor and remove the sensor from the steering gear

Install the sensor in reverse order
