In the article, we will consider the removal of the reservoir and the master cylinder of the car's brakes
Remove the tank for flushing or replacement
Disconnect the negative battery terminal

Remove the reservoir cap and pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir


Press the lock of the liquid level sensor wire block, and disconnect the block from the sensor

Knock out the locking pin

Remove the pin from the reservoir and master cylinder holes

Remove the tank, removing its nozzles from the connecting pipes

If fluid leaks through the connecting tubes, then we replace them
Replacing the brake master cylinder

Tools will be required: a special wrench for 10 for brake pipes, a Torx T25 wrench, a wrench for 12

Remove the reservoir cap and pump out the brake fluid

Remove the battery for ease of use


Press the lock of the liquid level sensor wire block, and disconnect the block from the sensor

Unscrew the two nuts securing the two tubes to the master brake cylinder

We take the tubes aside and put protective caps on the tubes from the air release valves of the brake working cylinders

We unscrew the two nuts securing the heads brake cylinder to the vacuum booster

The location of the nuts is indicated by the arrows in the photo

Remove the master brake cylinder assembly with reservoir

Remove the reservoir from the master cylinder, if there is no reservoir on the new cylinder, and install it on the new brake cylinder
Installing new connecting sleeves

Remove and replace the rubber o-ring

Pay attention to the marking of the master brake cylinder, you need to install the same one
Install the master brake cylinder in the reverse order, fill in the brake fluid and bleed the brake system
