We replace the parts of the anti-roll bar when they are worn out
Preparing the car for the task and hanging the front of the car
We apply penetrating liquid WD-40 or its equivalent to the nuts
We unscrew the nut securing the hinge to the front suspension strut support bracket, holding the hinge pin from turning, and remove the nut
Disconnect the upper stabilizer link pivot from the support bracket
We also unscrew the nut securing the lower hinge pin to the stabilizer bar
Remove the anti-roll bar
To replace the stabilizer bar and its cushions, you need to remove the front suspension subframe
We unscrew the bolts securing the brackets 3 of the stabilizer bar to the subframe and remove the bar 1 complete with brackets and rubber pads 2
Hook with a screwdriver and remove the bracket 3 fastening the stabilizer bar 1
Unclench pillow 2 and remove it from bar 1
We also remove the second pillow
Install parts in reverse order
After replacing the stabilizer parts, we check and adjust the wheel alignment
