Replacing the upper arm of the rear suspension
We install the car on a lift or a viewing ditch
Remove the wheel from the side of the work being done
We install supports under the lower arm of the rear suspension and lower the car, slightly loading the suspension
We unscrew the bolts securing the upper arm to the knuckle and the bracket of the rear suspension cross member
Remove the upper arm of the rear suspension
We examine the lever, we replace the deformed lever.
Signs of wear of silent blocks are tears, swelling and delamination of rubber from a metal bushing
To replace the silent blocks, you will need pullers of a suitable size
Pay attention to the marking of the lever. When replacing the lever, we get the same lever
After replacing the lever, we check and adjust the wheel alignment
Replacing the front lower arm of the rear suspension
If we perform work on a lift, we remove the wheel for the convenience of work.
We install a support under the lower rear suspension arm and lower the car, slightly loading the suspension
We unscrew the bolts securing the front lower arm to the rear suspension knuckle and the rear suspension cross member bracket
Then remove the front lower rear suspension arm
Inspect the lever, replace the deformed lever

To replace the silent blocks, you will need pullers of a suitable size
White dot mark and the front lower arm of the rear suspension must be directed forward in the direction of travel of the car
Install parts in reverse order
After replacing the lever, we check and adjust the wheel alignment
Replacing the rear lower arm of the rear suspension
Tools required: spring compressor, wrench and socket 17 and tools to remove the spring
Mark the position of the shim in the rear suspension cross member bracket
Remove the rear suspension spring as described in the previous article
Unscrew the nut of the adjusting bolt, remove the washer and remove the bolt
Then remove the rear lower rear suspension arm
Inspect the lever, replace the deformed lever

Install parts in reverse order

Replacing the trailing arm of the rear suspension
If we work on a lift, we remove the wheel for ease of operation.
We install a support under the lower rear suspension arm and lower the car, slightly loading the suspension
Unscrew the nut that secures the rear wheel speed sensor wire holder to the trailing arm
Pull the holder aside
Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the parking brake cable from the trailing arm
We unscrew two bolts and unscrew one nut securing the trailing arm to the knuckle
We unscrew the two bolts securing the trailing arm brackets to the body and remove the rear suspension trailing arm
Inspect the lever, replace the deformed lever

The left and right trailing arms of the rear suspension are marked with the letters "L" and "R". Do not confuse them, as the levers are not interchangeable
After replacing the lever, check the wheel alignment
