We remove the heating and air conditioning unit to replace the unit itself or to replace the backlight bulbs
We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the dashboard console trim (article - Removing the Nissan Almera car switches)
Using a Torx T-20 wrench, unscrew the two screws securing the block
Squeeze the latches of the block and push it into the opening of the instrument panel, removing the pins (shown by arrows) of the block from the holes in the instrument panel, removing the holders at the bottom of the block from the protrusions of the instrument panel
We remove the block from the opening of the instrument panel
Squeeze the clamps of the shell tip, rod (yellow), remove the shell tip from the hole in the block body
We remove the ball end of the thrust - from the socket of the recirculation damper drive lever.
We press the lock of the tip of the thrust shell with a screwdriver (blue)
We release the tip of the shell and remove the ball tip of the thrust from the socket of the temperature regulator lever
We press the white tip lock with a screwdriver

Remove the ball end of the thrust from the socket of the control valve drive lever
We press the lock of the wire block, disconnect the block from the block connector and remove the heating, ventilation and air conditioning control unit
Two backlights are installed in the control unit
To replace the backlight, turn the lamp counterclockwise and remove it from the unit
Install the new W1,2W lamp in the reverse order.
In the same way, we replace the second backlight.
Install the block in reverse order.
