Brake hoses are replaced if there are mechanical defects on it - scuffs, cracks or breaks, as well as if a leak of brake fluid through the hose is detected

After a run of over 120 thousand km or 5 years of operation of the car (depending on what comes first), it is advisable to forcibly replace the hoses of both front wheel brake mechanisms.

We carry out the work on a flat platform.

We remove the front wheel and securely fix the car on the stand.

Before unscrewing the brake tube fitting from the upper tip of the hose with a metal brush, we clean the place of their connection from dirt and corrosion and apply a light-penetrating liquid of the WD-40 type to it.

We install the hoses of the brake mechanisms of the rear wheels in reverse order.

When installing hoses, make sure that they do not twist.

To do this, a yellow longitudinal stripe is applied to the hoses. Pumping the hydraulic drive of the braking system.
