The bonnet is removed for replacement or repair.
Tools: 10 mm and 32 mm spanners, TORX T30, flat-blade screwdriver.

Removing the safety hook bracket
When replacing the bonnet:
While holding the bonnet lock catch, loosen the locknut and unscrew the catch. Remove the spring and washer.
Bonnet refitting
Refit the bonnet in the reverse order.
- If refitting the old bonnet, before tightening the bracket nuts it must be aligned using the previously applied marks.
- If a different or new bonnet is being fitted, the bonnet position must be adjusted so that the gaps between the bonnet and the wings are equal, and the gap between the upper crossmember of the radiator frame and the bonnet edge is uniform along its entire length.
Replacing the bonnet lock
Tools: 10 mm and 32 mm spanners, TORX T30, flat-blade screwdriver.
Tip: before fitting, lubricate the locking mechanism of the lock with Litol.
If the lock closes or opens poorly, adjust the position of the catch on the bonnet.

Refitting: refit the removed parts in the reverse order.
