Renault Megane II front fender replacement

It is more convenient to remove the front wing on a lift, but it can also be done over an inspection pit.

Tools: Torx T40 key, screwdrivers, pliers, 10 mm spanner, 10 mm socket.

Removal procedure

Disconnecting the negative battery terminal — Disconnect the negative battery terminal

Removing the air intake box grille — Remove the air intake box grille
(see the article Replacing the wiper mechanism on a Renault Megane II)

Unscrewing two bolts of the upper wing mounting — Unscrew two bolts of the upper wing mounting to the engine bay frame under the air intake box grille

Remove the front wing arch liners (see the article Removing the arch liners on a Renault Megane 2).

Removing the side indicator — Remove the side indicator lamp

Unscrewing the bolt of the lower wing mounting — Unscrew the bolt of the lower wing mounting

Remove the headlamp unit (see the article Renault Megane II headlamps).

Unscrewing two bolts of the upper wing mounting — Unscrew two bolts of the upper wing mounting to the engine bay frame and remove the wing

Refitting: refit the wing and all parts in the reverse order.
