How to remove and install car seats Hyundai Solaris

We remove the seats for repair, as well as for approaching the details and components of the car inside the cabin

Removing the front seat

We show on the example of the left seat, the right passenger seat is removed in the same way

Disconnect the negative battery terminal, because you will have to disconnect the wiring harness from the seatbelt indicator

We press the fastening latches and disconnect the wiring harness from the seat bracket

Disconnect the driver's seat belt signaling pads

Disconnecting the driver's seat heater wires

We unscrew the two bolts of the front fastening of the support brackets of the seat rails to the base of the body

Move the seat forward as far as it will go

We unscrew the two bolts of the rear fastening of the support brackets of the seat rails to the base of the body

Remove the seat from the car

Unscrew the bolt securing the seat belt buckle to the seat (if necessary)

Remove the lock

Remove the washer

Install the front seat and all removed parts in reverse order

Remove the rear seat

Rear seat, in addition, we also remove it to approach the fuel module hatch

You will need a key for 10, pliers, screwdrivers

Raise the front rear seat cushion

And lifting from behind - remove the pillow

Remove the rear side seat belts from the eyelets on the back of the rear seat

Remove the rear center seat belt mounting bolt

We unscrew the three bolts securing the seat back to the base of the body

We remove the three eyes of the seat back from engagement with the hooks on the body, lifting the back up (in the direction of the arrow in the photo)

Remove the backrest from the passenger compartment

We unscrew two bolts securing the amplifiers located behind the back of the rear seat

Removing amplifiers

Pry off the fastener of the panel separating the passenger compartment from the trunk

Remove the retainer

In the photo, the location of the latches for fastening the protective panel separating the passenger compartment from the luggage compartment

We unscrew two screws on each side of the panel mount

And remove the panel

Install the rear seat in reverse order.
