Installing the Automatic Transmission ECU
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
If the automatic transmission ECU is replaced, it is necessary to transfer the transmission oil life value stored in the ECU being replaced to the memory of the new ECU.
Proceed as follows:
Read the oil life data from the memory of the ECU being replaced using parameter PR133 "Odometer until next oil change" and write it down.
Replace the ECU.
Transfer the oil life data to the memory of the new ECU using the command: CF320 "Transfer odometer data" until next oil change."
Check the data entry by displaying the "Odometer until next oil change" parameter.
Enter the after-sales service date using the command: CF320 "Write after-sales service date."
To ensure the new ECU remembers the entered parameters, perform a road test.
