Remove ignition coils

Squeeze the ears of the clamp and slide the clamp along the hose of the crankcase ventilation system

Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the branch pipe of the head cover

We also disconnect the second hose of the crankcase ventilation system

We unscrew the sixteen bolts of the cylinder head cover in the reverse order shown in photo 9

Carefully pry off the valve cover with a screwdriver

Remove the cover from the cylinder head

Remove the gasket from the grooves in the cylinder head cover

We also remove the gasket from the holes of the candle wells

We clean the grooves of the cover and the mating surface of the cylinder head from oil residues

Install new gaskets in the grooves of the cylinder head cover

We install the block head cover and tighten the fastening bolts in the order indicated in photo 9, in two stages:

  • - the first stage - tighten the bolts to a torque of 3.9-5.9 Nm;
  • - the second stage - tighten the bolts with a torque of 7.8-9.8 Nm.

Install all removed parts in reverse order.
