How to replace the supports of the Hyundai Solaris power plant since 2011

We remove the supports of the power plant during repair, as well as for replacement

The power plant is attached using three supports, two supports on the right and left and one on the bottom

When the rubber elements of the supports are worn out, vibration occurs, which is transmitted to the car body and is strongly felt on the steering wheel.

Replacing the rear support of the power plant

We install the car on a viewing ditch or lift

We substitute an adjustable support under the gearbox through a wooden or rubber block

Using a 14 key or a head, unscrew the nut of the rear support bolt, holding the 14 key from turning the bolt

Remove the bolt from the holes

We unscrew the two bolts securing the rear support bracket to the front suspension crossbar

Remove the rear suspension support of the power plant

Install the rear suspension support of the power plant in the reverse order.

We tighten the bolts for fastening the brackets of the suspension supports of the power unit with a torque of 90 Nm

Replacing the right power plant suspension mount

We install a support under the engine crankcase through a wooden or rubber spacer

We unscrew the bolt and unscrew the two nuts securing the support bracket to the bracket on the engine

Unscrew the nut of the stud securing the bracket to the support

Remove the support bracket

We unscrew the three bolts securing the support to the body

Remove the right suspension support of the power plant

Install the right suspension support of the power plant in reverse order.

We tighten the bolts for fastening the brackets of the suspension supports of the power unit with a torque of 90 Nm

Replacing the left power plant suspension mount

We install the car on a viewing ditch or lift

We substitute an adjustable support under the gearbox through a wooden or rubber block

Remove the battery

Disconnect the block of wires from the electronic unit engine control

We unscrew the bolts securing the computer bracket to the battery shelf

We unscrew the bolts of fastening to the body

Remove the engine control unit assembly with the bracket

We unscrew the five bolts securing the battery shelf

And remove the shelf

Press out the latches

And remove the cover of the bolts securing the left support to the gearbox bracket

We unscrew the two bolts securing the support bracket to the bracket on the gearbox

We unscrew one bolt and unscrew one nut securing the wiring harness cover

Pull the casing aside

We unscrew two bolts and unscrew one nut securing the support to the body

Remove the left suspension support of the power plant from the car

Install the support in reverse order.
