We remove the glass and window regulator of the door for door repair, as well as for replacement

We remove the upholstery of the front door, as indicated in the previous article.

We connect the block of wires for controlling the power window of the door to the control unit

We install the glass of the front door in a position in which the bolts for attaching the glass to the slider will be located opposite the holes in the door mounting panel

We unscrew the two bolts securing the glass caps to the slider, holding the glass

We take out the glass from the door, taking it up and turning it in the doorway, as shown in the photo

Install glass and all parts in reverse order

Raise the glass to its highest position and remove the front door upholstery

Remove the inner handle of the front door lock

We connect the block of wires for controlling the window regulators of the doors to the window regulator control unit

We lower the glass so that the bolts securing the glass to the slider are located opposite the holes in the door mounting panel

We fix the glass on the door with masking tape

Holding the glass with your hand, unscrew the two bolts securing the glass guide to the slider

We remove the power window motor, as described in the article "Replacing glass elements of a Mazda 6 car"

We compress the latch and disconnect the block of wires of its electric drive from the lock

We press the latch of the speaker wire block of the speaker system and disconnect the block from the speaker terminals

We bite the clamps of the wiring harness with pliers and take the wiring harness to the side

When assembling, you need to use new clamps for fastening the wiring harnesses

Pry off the retainer with a screwdriver, slide it up and remove the piston securing the mounting panel to the front door

We unscrew the bolts securing the mounting panel to the front door around the entire perimeter

And remove the panel

We unscrew the two bolts securing the window regulator mechanism to the mounting panel and remove the window regulator

We install the power window and all the parts in the reverse order

Before installation, lubricate the rubbing surface of the window lifter with grease
