Installation

Do not clean the pressure regulating unit.

Be sure to replace the ECU mounting bolts.

Install the ECU, holding it by the edges.

Do not press on the ECU during installation; it should fit into place without force.

The hydraulic pump must be tightly pressed against the pressure regulating unit.

When installing a new ECU, be sure to secure the fork-type connector located between the pressure regulating unit and the electronic control unit.

Assembling the ECU block

Tighten the ECU mounting bolts on the pressure regulating unit (Fig. 3).

Tighten the ECU mounting bolts to the specified torque of 3 Nm using the tool (Mot. 1608).

Install the hydraulic unit assembly.

Configure the speed measurement index using a diagnostic tool.

Clear fault codes stored in the ECU.

Perform a road test to confirm the fault has been corrected.
