Place the vehicle on a two-post lift

Disconnect the battery.

Remove:

  • – Windscreen wiper arms;
  • – Air intake grille;

Install the reservoir by inserting its pipes into the connecting tubes, first moistening the bushings with brake fluid.

Insert the pin Fastening the reservoir to the brake master cylinder.

Connect the wiring harness to the level sensor.

Connect the clutch master cylinder hose.

Pry up the noise insulation retainer and pull the noise insulation down.

Remove the nuts securing the master cylinder to the brake booster.

If the master cylinder is being replaced, transfer the brake fluid reservoir to the new cylinder.

Install the brake cylinder in the reverse order.

Fill with brake fluid and bleed the brake system.

Correctly snap the reservoir onto master cylinder.

Install the reservoir tank mounting bolt to the master cylinder.

Tighten the reservoir tank mounting bolt to the master cylinder to the specified torque of 8.5 N m.

Align the master cylinder with the brake booster so that the booster plunger fits into the socket in the master cylinder housing.

When installing the master cylinder, center the seal in the brake booster.

Tighten the master cylinder mounting nuts to the brake booster.

Tighten the master cylinder mounting nuts to the brake booster to the specified torque of 50 N m.

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the nuts securing the lines to the master cylinder to the specified torque of 17 N m. cylinder.

Bleed the brake system.

Connect the battery.
