We prepare the car and remove the front wheel from the side of the replaced extension
We unscrew the two bolts securing the extension to the lower arm
We unscrew the two bolts securing the extension to the subframe
Remove the stretch
We examine the extension of the lower arm of the front suspension, we replace the deformed extension
The left and right front suspension braces are marked with the letters "L" and "R", respectively. Stretch marks are not interchangeable
Install parts in reverse order and check wheel alignment
Replacing the lower arm of the front suspension
You will need keys for 8, 21, 24, a hex key for 6, a ball joint puller
Remove the wheel from the side of the task being performed
We unscrew the two bolts securing the extension to the lower arm
We unscrew the nut and remove the bolt connecting the shock strut support and the lower arm of the front suspension
When removing the lower arm of the front suspension on the right side of the car, it is necessary to additionally unscrew the bolt securing the bracket of the headlight electrocorrector sensor strut to the lower arm of the front suspension and move the strut together with the bracket to the side
Unscrew the nut securing the ball joint pin of the lower arm of the front suspension to the mounting bracket
If necessary, hold the ball joint pin from turning with a key
Install the ball joint puller and press the pin out of the bracket
We unscrew the two nuts securing the lower arm ball joint bracket to the steering knuckle
If necessary, hold the steering knuckle stud from turning with a key
And remove the bracket
When installing the lower arm ball joint bracket, apply anaerobic threadlocker to the steering knuckle studs
We unscrew the bolt securing the lower arm to the front suspension subframe, keeping the nut from turning through the technological hole in the subframe
Remove the lever from the car
Remove the rubber ring from the lever
Replace a damaged ring
Inspect the lever, replace the deformed lever
Signs of wear of silent blocks are tears, one-sided swelling and delamination of rubber from a metal bushing
To replace the silent blocks, you will need pullers of suitable sizes
The lower arms of the front suspension are marked with the letters "L" and "R"
Install parts in reverse order
After replacing the lower arm, we check and adjust the wheel alignment
