The throttle actuator is electric, it is controlled by the electronic control unit of the engine control system
In the event of a malfunction, flush the throttle body with a solvent or aerosol carburettor cleaner
Removing the throttle body
We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal
Draining the coolant from the engine cooling system
If you prepare suitable plugs according to the size of the inlet and outlet hose and plug it immediately after disconnection, then you can not drain the coolant (in this case, the loss of coolant will be insignificant)
We shift the lock of the wire block and disconnect the block from the cover of the throttle assembly
Loosen the fastening clamp and disconnect the sleeve from the nozzle of the throttle assembly
We loosen the clamp securing the coolant supply hose to the throttle assembly, squeezing its bent ears with pliers, and slide the clamp along the hose
Remove the hose from the nozzle of the throttle assembly
In the same way, we loosen the clamp and disconnect the coolant outlet hose from the throttle assembly
We unscrew the four bolts securing the throttle assembly to the intake manifold and remove the throttle assembly
Remove the rubber seal from the throttle body
A new seal must be installed each time it is removed
If the throttle assembly is not removed for replacement, we clean the contaminated throttle assembly with carburetor cleaning fluid
Remove oil and other contaminants from the intake manifold cavity
Install the throttle assembly in reverse order
If necessary, add coolant
Removing and installing the accelerator pedal (gas)
Remove the gas pedal for replacement if it fails
We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal
Squeeze the latches of the accelerator pedal wire block and disconnect the block from the pedal
Unscrew the two nuts securing the accelerator pedal
Remove the pedal from the front end shield studs
Pay attention to the labeling of the pedal, you need to purchase exactly the same
Install the pedal in reverse order
