We remove the wiper mechanism to replace the gear motor and the wiper trapezoid.
Preparing the car for work.
Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Pry off the protective cap with a screwdriver
Remove the cap from the brush arm
With a 14 head, unscrew the nut securing the brush lever
Remove the lever with the brush from the cleaner shaft
If the lever cannot be removed, then we press it off the cleaner shaft with a puller.
We also remove another lever with a brush.
Squeezing the petals of the holder with pliers, remove the foam seal with the holder.
We also remove the foam seal on the other side of the car.
Use a screwdriver to pry the pin of the piston for fastening the wind window lining
And take out the piston.
We also take out six more clips for fastening the wind window lining
Disconnect the washer pump hose from the fitting
Removing the lining of the wind window
By pressing the lock of the wire block, we disconnect the block from the connector of the motor-reducer
With a 10 head, unscrew the three bolts securing the cleaner
Remove the windscreen cleaner
Unscrew the crank nut with a 12 spanner
Remove the crank from the gearmotor shaft
Head 10 unscrew the two bolts
And remove the gear motor and locking plate from the cleaner bracket
Head 10 unscrew the two bolts
Remove the gearmotor bracket
Install the gear motor bracket and the gear motor onto the cleaner bracket in reverse order.
To set the gearmotor shaft to its original position, we connect a block of wires to the gearmotor.
Having put on the negative terminal of the battery, we turn on the gear motor with the steering column switch.
Turn off the cleaner, after which we wait for the gear motor shaft to stop.
In this position, set the crank on the mark.
Mark 1 on the crank must match rib 2 on the gearmotor.
Assemble all the parts in reverse order.
