Filling is carried out through the appropriate hole (Fig. 1).

To prevent contamination, use a funnel with a filter with a mesh size of 15/100.

To prevent contamination, use a funnel with a 15/100 mesh filter.

Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.

Disconnect the battery cables, starting with the negative terminal.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the ECU.

Remove the battery tray mounting bolts.

Remove the battery tray and ECU bracket.

Move the wastegate pneumatic actuator control solenoid valve to the side (if the vehicle is equipped with a turbocharger).

Fig. Removing the accelerator cable: 1 - cable

Remove the accelerator cable (Fig. 3).

Disconnect the cable from the lever on the gearbox:

  • – compress the cable end at points A;
  • – pull the lock in direction B;
  • – lift the accelerator cable at point C (Fig. 4).

fig. Disconnecting the cable from the gearshift lever

Fill the automatic transmission with 3.5 liters of fresh oil.

Connect the cables to the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal.

Start the engine at idle.

Connect the diagnostic tool (CLIP).

Engage with the automatic transmission ECU.

Monitor the oil temperature in the transmission.

When the temperature reaches 60°C ±1, remove the oil level plug.

fig. Gearbox Drain Hole

Install a container. If oil does not drain or the amount of leaked oil is less than 0.1 l, stop the engine (Fig. 5).

Add 0.5 l of oil, allow the gearbox to cool to 50°C, and then start the engine at idle.

Reconnect the diagnostic tool (CLIP) and establish a dialogue with the automatic transmission ECU.

Monitor the automatic transmission oil temperature.

When the temperature reaches 60°C ±1, remove the oil level plug.

Place a container under the vehicle to collect the oil.

Repeat these steps until more than 0.1 l of oil has drained into the container.

Reinstall the oil level plug.

Tighten to the required torque. (35 Nm) the oil level plug.

When changing the oil, reset the electronic oil life counter (built into the ECU).

Record the oil change date by entering the CF074 "Record gearbox oil change date" command using the diagnostic tool (CLIP).

When performing repairs on the automatic transmission, the following parts must be replaced:

  • – self-locking nuts;
  • – sealing gaskets;
  • – rubber gaskets;
  • – torque converter mounting bolts.

Draining and filling automatic transmission oil

Preparing the vehicle for work. Place the car on a lift or inspection pit.

Remove the engine sump guard to access the drain plug.

The drain plug also serves as an inspection valve.

Place a 4-5 liter container underneath to drain the oil.

Use an 8 mm square wrench to loosen the drain plug.

Drain the oil from the drain (inspection) hole.

Since there's a level bulb inside, not all the oil will drain.

After that, unscrew the level flask.

Insert into Drain hole, 8 mm Allen key, and unscrew the level bulb.

The level bulb (oil level control plug) is plastic, so don't tighten it too much when installing.

This is what the level bulb looks like.

After all the oil has been drained, install and tighten the level bulb by hand.

Tighten the drain plug by hand as well.

Determine the amount of oil drained from the gearbox. You need to fill approximately the same amount.

If the car was on a lift, lower it and prepare it for adding oil.

Open the hood.

Loosen the air duct clamps and remove it.

Use an 8 mm square wrench to loosen the filler plug.

Remove the plug.

The plug is sealed with an O-ring.

Insert a funnel with an extension into the filler hole and add oil equal to the amount drained.

After this, start the car and warm the engine to operating temperature.

After warming up the engine at idle, use the selector lever to cycle through all transmission modes sequentially to distribute the oil throughout the internal components of the automatic transmission.

Set the mode selector lever to the parking position.

Unscrew the drain plug and drain the excess oil.

When oil starts dripping from the inspection hole, this means the oil is full. level.

After this, tighten the drain plug to a torque of 35 Nm and pour another 300 grams of oil through the filler hole.
