We prepare the car to perform the work. Place the car on a lift or inspection pit.
Engage first gear, or if the transmission is automatic, set the selector to the "P" position.
Install wheel chocks under the front wheels.

Loosen the rear wheel bolts.

Use a screwdriver to pry off the hub nut cap.
Loosen the wheel hub nut.
Raise the rear of the car and remove the wheel.

Remove the parking brake cable end from the release lever.

Remove the brake shoe guide mounting bolts.
Remove the bracket assembly from the brake shoe guide without disconnecting the hose.
Hang the bracket assembly from the brake shoe guide on A rope or a technical hook to the rear suspension components.

Press out the old bearing using a puller or drift.
Clean the inside of the hub and lubricate it with bearing grease.
Press the new bearing into the hub using a drift.
Tighten to the specified torque:
- – hub nut (175 Nm);
- – wheel mounting bolts (105 Nm).
