Running in the car

When running in a new car, the following rules must be observed:

During the first 1000 km, you must not exceed a speed of 130 km/h in top gear

To overhaul the engine, we disassemble the cylinder block.

The general view and cross section of the engines are shown in the figures.

The engines are inline four-cylinder, equipped with carburetors and a contactless ignition system

Adjustment of thermal gaps in the valve drive is required for engines K7J and K7M.

For the K4M engine, valve clearance adjustment is not required, this engine is equipped with hydraulic valve clearance compensators

The vehicle's electrical equipment is protected by fuses and relays. Some of the fuses are located in the passenger compartment

The coolant level should be checked every time the engine is inspected

Electrical equipment circuits are protected by fuses, Headlights, fan motors, fuel pump and other powerful consumers are connected via relays.
