We remove the protection of the power plant to approach the parts and assemblies of the engine and gearbox
Remove fenders and mudguards to approach the nodes of the running and braking systems, as well as for anti-corrosion treatment of body parts.
Removing the protection of the power unit
Preparing the car for the task.
We install the car on a viewing ditch or a lift.

Using the TorxT30 key, unscrew the middle screw securing the bumper to the protection

On the left side, unscrew the screw of the lower fastening of the bumper to the subframe.
Also unscrew the screw on the other side

Under the lower edge of the front bumper, with a head of 10, unscrew the two bolts of the front mounting of the protection

With a head of 10, we twist six bolts securing the protection of the power plant to the subframe
Remove protection

Install the protection of the power plant in reverse order.
Before installing screws and bolts, lubricate the threaded part with grease.
Removing the engine compartment mudguards
Preparing the car for the task.
We install wheel chocks under the rear wheels of the car.
Put the car on the parking brake.
Loosen the bolts of the front wheels.
We raise the front of the car and set it on reliable stops.
Remove the front wheel.

We pry off the piston of the lower shield mount with a screwdriver

We take out the piston for fastening the mudguard of the engine compartment to the fender liner and to the body

We unscrew the plastic nut of the top fastening of the mudguard to the body

Move the shield down and remove the fixing tab of the shield from under the flanging of the mudguard of the body
Remove the mudguard of the engine compartment.

On the other side, the mudguard is removed in the same way.
Install the shields in reverse order.
Removing mudguards and front wheel arch liners

With a 7 head, unscrew three screws securing the mudguard to the wing and one to the fender liner

Remove the mudguard

Remove the mudguard as described above

With a head of 10, we unscrew the self-tapping screw of the lower fastening of the front body kit of the body sill

We pry off the body kit of the threshold and remove the body kit of the body sill

Using a Torx T20 wrench, we unscrew the two screws of the lower fastening of the fender liner to the front bumper

Using the Torx T20 key in the wheel arch, unscrew the screw securing the fender liner to the front bumper

We unscrew the four screws fastening to the front fender

Unscrew the metal nut with pliers

Use a flat screwdriver to unscrew the piston of the lower fender liner

Pry off with a screwdriver and take out the piston of the upper mount of the fender liner

Using a flat screwdriver, unscrew the piston of the middle fender liner
Remove the front wheel liner.

In the same way, remove the fender liner and mudguard on the other side.
Install all parts in reverse order.
