The diagnostic connector is located on the fuse and relay mounting block in the passenger compartment
To diagnose the Cummins ISF2.8 electronic engine control system, it is recommended to use the Cummins INELINE 5 or INELINE 6 diagnostic adapter with a set of connecting wires and a personal computer with INELINE version 7.3 and higher installed.
Minimum computer requirements:
- - Intel Pentium 4 processor - at least 2 GHz;
- —at least 1 GB of RAM;
- — hard drive of at least 40 GB;
- — free hard disk space of at least 6 GB;
- — display SVGA (1024x768 pixel) color;
- —Windows XP operating system is installed;
- — INELINE software version 7.3 and higher is installed;
- — I/O ports for USB 2.0 port, COM port (RS-232 serial);
- —DVD RUM drive (for software installation);
- — keyboard, mouse.
When diagnosing engines, you must use the instruction manual for INELINE 5 diagnostic equipment, the user manual for the INELINE program.
