Before replacing the electric fan, make sure it's working properly.
Check the fuses. To test the electric fan, apply power directly to it using additional wires.
In the images below, you can see that there are two wires connected to the electric fan.
Apply 12 volts to the red wire (positive) and negative to the black wire.
If the electric fan works, the fault must be sought either in the heater electronic control unit or in the heater control module.
Removing the Electric Fan
Prepare the vehicle for work. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Prying with a screwdriver and overcoming the retainer's force, remove the left instrument panel trim.

Remove the pedal assembly. To do this, turn the brake light switch and remove it from the pedal assembly housing.

Disconnect the harness connector from the brake light switch by pressing the retainer with your finger.

Press the retainer of the wiring harness connector to the electronic accelerator pedal.

Disconnect the harness connector

Prying with a screwdriver, remove the retaining washer from the pin of the vacuum booster pushrod fork.

Remove the pin of the vacuum booster pushrod fork

Using a 13mm socket, unscrew the four mounting nuts of the pedal assembly.

Remove the pedal assembly.

If the car has an automatic transmission, see the article replacing the brake pedal with an automatic transmission on a Renault Megane 2.
The electric fan (1) is located on top of the heater (Fig. 10).

If the car is equipped with climate control, there is a relay on the electric fan housing that is removed in the direction of vehicle travel (arrow in the picture).

Disconnect connector 2 (Fig. 12) of the heater fan ECU wiring harness. To do this:

Remove the connector wires from the groove (shown on the removed fan, Fig. 13).

Press the connector retainer

Turning it on its axis, remove the ECU wiring harness connector.
Press the retainer 1 (Fig. 14) on the fan housing, turn the fan housing counterclockwise.
Remove the electric fan from the heater housing.

The vacuum booster rod obstructs the removal of the electric fan.
On some models, the rod can be removed by taking out its retainer.
If there is no rod retainer, remove the electric fan as follows.

By turning the electric fan, ensure that the vacuum booster rod enters the fan housing.

After this, turn the electric fan, being careful not to damage the fan blades.

Turn and remove the electric fan.

Install the heater electric fan in the reverse order.
