Removing the ignition lock cylinder and immobilizer antenna unit
Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery

Remove the lower part of the steering column cover
We press the latch and disconnect the wire blocks of the immobilizer antenna unit and the key position sensor in the ignition switch
We press the latches of the immobilizer antenna unit and take it aside
Disconnect the key position sensor from the ignition lock cylinder and remove the immobilizer antenna unit
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ACC" position
We press the lock of the ignition lock cylinder with a screwdriver
And take out the cylinder
Install parts in reverse order

Disconnect the negative battery terminal

Remove the lower part of the steering column cover
We press the latch and disconnect the block of wires of the contact group
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ACC" position
Press on both sides of the fasteners
And take out the contact group of the ignition switch
Install parts in reverse order

The ignition lock is attached to the steering column with a metal bracket, which is fixed with two self-tapping bolts
You will need tools: a hammer, a chisel, a flat-blade screwdriver
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery

Remove the airbag contact ring, described in the article - How to remove the Hyundai Solaris steering column
Remove the steering column cover
Remove the steering column switches
Disconnect the wire blocks of the immobilizer antenna unit
We press the latch and disconnect the block of wires of the contact group of the ignition switch
We unscrew the bolts with a chisel and a hammer and remove the ignition switch
Install the ignition lock and tighten the new mounting bolts until the head comes off
Install all parts in reverse order
