The hydraulic block or hydraulic distributor, receiving signals from the electronic control unit, switches channels in the control valve block and controls the clutch engagement pressure

Depending on the signal, one or another solenoid is activated, and the liquid, flowing through the channels of the distributor, acts on the corresponding clutch mechanism.

We discussed the removal of the hydraulic distributor in the article - "Disassembly of the automatic transmission DPO(AL4)"

The control valve (Fig. 1) consists of upper and lower solenoid valve housings, separator plates, gaskets, pressure control solenoid valve, torque converter lock-up solenoid valve and sequential shift solenoid valves.

The location of the solenoid valves on the automatic transmission hydraulic valve: 1 - pressure control valve, 2 - torque converter lock-up valve, 3 - solenoid valve No. 4 of the shift sequence, 4 - solenoid valve No. 3; 5 - solenoid valve No. 1; 6 - solenoid valve No. 2; 7 - solenoid valve No. 6; 8 - Solenoid valve No. 5 of the shift sequence

Repair of the valve body consists of replacing worn valves, seals on the solenoids, flushing the valve body.

Be especially careful when working on the control valve body, as it consists of a large number of precision parts.

When removing, arrange the parts in a certain order so as not to mix them up.

Clean the removed parts with solvent and dry with compressed air. Clean all openings and channels with compressed air.

After disassembly, I wash the block and all parts of the hydraulic distributortsya. We replace seals and defective parts.

Assemble the block in reverse order.
