The engine is controlled by an electronic system. This includes the engine control unit ECU, which receives information from sensors.
Replace the seals if there is a lubricant leak
Please note that if the gas recirculation system is clogged, then oil leakage from under the seals may occur due to increased gas pressure in the engine crankcase
The oil pump housing is a single casting with the front cover of the cylinder block
If the pump needs to be replaced, the cover is replaced as an assembly.
