Remove the adsorber for inspection or replacement
The reason for the failure or leakage of the vapor recovery system is the persistent smell of gasoline, unstable idling of the engine
The adsorber is attached to the fuel tank
We prepare the car for the task, install it on a lift or a viewing ditch
Remove the fuel tank, as described in the article - Removing and installing the Hyundai Solaris fuel tank
Squeeze the lugs of the hose clamp with pliers, slide the clamp along the hose
Disconnect the hose from the adsorber pipe
Press out the latches
Disconnect the tip of the fuel line from the adsorber pipe
We compress the bent ears of the second hose clamp with pliers, slide the clamp along the hose and disconnect the second hose from the adsorber pipe
We unscrew the four bolts securing the adsorber to the fuel tank
Remove the adsorber
Install the adsorber and all parts in the reverse order.
