We remove the car engine together with the gearbox, lowering it down from the engine compartment
Therefore, it is advisable to install the car on a lift.
If the engine is being shot in a garage, you need to have high props and jacks to remove the engine from under the car, lowered to the garage floor.
For convenience, you need to remove the hood
Reducing the fuel pressure for this
Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel module and, after starting the engine, wait until it stalls.
Disconnect the wires from the battery and remove it from the car
Draining the coolant from the cooling system
Remove the accessory drive belt
Remove the air filter housing

Remove the front wheel drives
Disconnect the wiring harness from the generator
We unscrew the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts.
Without disconnecting the tubes from the compressor, we take it aside and tie it with a rope or wire.
We unscrew the nuts of the studs securing the fuel line flange to the fuel rail flange
Disconnecting the flanges
Disconnect the hoses of the engine cooling system from the nozzles on the cylinder head
Remove the clutch slave cylinder without disconnecting the pipeline from it
We take the working cylinder aside and tie it
Disconnect the control cables from the gearbox
Disconnect the wiring harness pads from the outputs of the sensors of the engine control system
Disconnect the hoses from the inlet pipe fittings
Disconnect the ground wire lugs from the engine and gearbox
Disconnect all clamps securing the wiring harness from the brackets of the power plant
Disconnect the hose from the canister purge solenoid valve
We fix the slings of the lifting mechanism for the transport eyes and tighten the slings
Once again we check whether all the wires and hoses and assemblies are disconnected from the power plant
Hang out the front of the car (raise the car on a lift) to a height sufficient to remove the power plant.
Remove the engine from under the car
Install the power unit in reverse order.
