The factory recommends replacing the filter element after 45,000 km, but this depends on the operating conditions
Remove the filter housing to access other parts of the power plant
Replacing the air filter element
We press the two latches of the top cover of the air filter
Lift up the air filter cover
Removing the filter element
The shape of the filter element matches the shape of the air filter housing, so the installation of another element is excluded.
Install the new filter element and snap the filter cover springs
Removing and installing the air filter housing
You will need a 10 socket and a Phillips screwdriver
Loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the air filter housing pipe
Disconnect the hose from the air filter nozzle
We unscrew the three bolts securing the air filter housing
Disconnect the air filter housing from the air intake silencer pipe
Remove the air filter housing from the engine compartment
To remove the air intake, remove the top panel of the radiator frame
Push up the rods of the two air intake latches
Remove the latches securing the air intake to the radiator frame
Disconnect the air duct from the intake noise damper pipe
And remove the air intake with an air duct
To remove the intake noise damper, remove the wiring harness from the holder on the damper body
We unscrew the two bolts securing the intake noise damper from above
Unscrew one bolt from the bottom
Remove the intake noise damper from the car
Install parts in reverse order.
