In the engine compartment, we unscrew the coupling bolt of the terminal connection of the upper and lower intermediate shafts

Install the parts in reverse order.

The steering column shaft crosses are non-separable, cannot be repaired, in case of wear, the shaft assembly is replaced.

Before installation, we apply an anaerobic thread locker to the threaded parts of the four steering column mounting bolts and two intermediate shaft mounting bolts.

We tighten the steering column mounting bolts with a torque of 18-25 Nm, the bolts for securing the intermediate shaft support with a torque of 5.5-8.0 Nm, the bolt for the terminal connection of the intermediate shafts with a torque of 28-32 Nm.
