Removing the steering wheel
Remove the steering wheel when removing the steering column switches, ignition switch, instrument panel and when removing the steering column.
To remove the steering wheel, you need a 19 mm socket head.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
Set the steering wheel to the position corresponding to the straight-line movement of the car.
Remove the decorative steering wheel cover by taking out its holders from holes of the contact plate of the horn switch
Disconnect the wire tips from the contact plate

Unscrew the steering wheel mounting nut, holding the steering wheel from turning
Mark the relative positions of the steering shaft and steering wheel hub with a felt-tip pen so that when assembling, you can install the steering wheel in its original position.
Tighten the steering wheel mounting nut a few turns.
The steering wheel mounting nut must be screwed back onto the shaft to avoid injury when the wheel suddenly separates from the steering shaft.
Finally unscrew the nut only after you move off wheel.
With a sharp blow of the hands along the axis of the steering shaft, knock the steering wheel off the splines of the shaft tail.
Completely unscrew the mounting nut and remove the steering wheel.
Install the steering wheel in the reverse order, aligning the applied marks.
Apply anaerobic thread lock to the threaded part of the steering shaft tail.
The steering wheel mounting nut must be replaced.
Tighten the mounting nut with a torque of 50-62 Nm.
Removing the steering column cover
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the upper part of the cover
Pull up and remove the upper part of the casing
Unscrew the two screws securing the lower part of the casing to the steering column, located in the recesses on the lower surface of the lower part
And remove the lower part
Install the steering column cover in reverse order.
