In the article, we will consider how to replace the lamps of the headlight, direction indicators, ceiling lamps and lanterns
Before replacing the lamps, you must disconnect the negative terminal of the battery
Replacing headlight bulbs
Opening the hood
To replace the turn signal bulb, turn the bulb socket counterclockwise
Remove the cartridge with the lamp from the headlight
Remove the baseless lamp from the socket
Install the new lamp in reverse order
Replacing the parking light bulb
Turn the side light bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight unit
Remove the baseless lamp from the socket
Install the lamp in reverse order
Replacing high and low beam bulbs
Turn the lamp cover counterclockwise and remove the cover
We press the lamp clips and remove the lamp from the headlight reflector
Turn the lamp counterclockwise by 45º and remove it from the socket
We insert a new lamp into the reflector and fix it by installing the wire block
To replace the side lighting lamp when turning (AFS), press the lock of the wire block and disconnect the block from the lamp
Turn the lamp socket 45º counterclockwise and remove the lamp from the reflector
The design of the direction indicator lamp does not provide for the replacement of the lamp, if necessary, the lamp is replaced together with the lamp
Replacing the turn signal lamp in the taillight
Open the tailgate (trunk lid)
Pull the handle of the luggage compartment cover and remove the cover
Remove the flap of the luggage compartment upholstery
Turn the turn signal bulb holder 45º counterclockwise through the opening formed (shown on the removed rear light)
And take out the cartridge with the lamp from the lantern.
Remove the baseless lamp from the socket
Install the new lamp and all parts in reverse order
Changing the bulb in the tail light on the trunk lid
Opening the trunk lid
Use a screwdriver to pry off the tailgate light hatch cover and remove the cover
Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise by 45º and remove the socket with the lamp assembly
Remove the baseless lamp from the socket
In the same way, we replace the second rear light bulb
Install the new lamp in reverse order
Replacing a bulb in a fog lamp
Raise the front of the car
Unscrew the screws and bolts securing the lower part of the fender liner to the front bumper
The location of bolts and screws is shown by arrows
Bending down the lower part of the fender liner
Through the resulting opening, by pressing the retainer of the fog lamp wire block, disconnect the block from the lamp base
Turn the lamp base counterclockwise by 45º and remove the lamp from the fog lamp
Install the new lamp and all parts in reverse order
Replacing bulbs in license plate lights
Use a screwdriver to depress the spring retainer of the license plate light cover
Remove the cover
We take the bulb of the lamp and take out the baseless lamp
Install the lamp in reverse order
Replacing bulbs in the ceiling lights
Using a screwdriver, we pry off the diffuser of the lighting dome on the driver's side and remove the diffuser
Remove the lamp from the spring contacts
Install the lamp in reverse order
Replacing the lampshade on the front passenger side in the same way
To replace the lamp in the rear ceiling lamp, pry off the rear lamp diffuser with a screwdriver
Remove the diffuser from the ceiling
We remove the lamp from the spring contacts, and install a new lamp
To replace the bulb in the luggage compartment light
Use a thin screwdriver to pry off the diffuser of the ceiling and remove the diffuser
Remove the lamp from the spring contacts and install the lamp in reverse order
To replace the lamp in the ceiling light of a cosmetic mirror, pry off the diffuser of the ceiling and remove the diffuser
Remove the lamp from the spring contacts and install a new lamp
Changing the bulb in the interior light on the front door
Remove the front door trim
On the reverse side of the front door upholstery, pull the lamp holder and remove the lamp holder together with the lamp from the ceiling
We take the bulb of the lamp and take out the baseless lamp from the ceiling lamp
Install the new lamp in reverse order
