We install the shock-absorbing rack in the reverse order.

We tighten the nut of the upper fastening of the rack on a car standing on wheels with a torque of 44 Nm (4.4 kgsm). The tightening torque of the bolts securing the rotary knuckle to the rack is 105 Nm (10.5 kg cm).

After replacing the amortstoyki, you need to check and adjust the installation angles of the wheels.

To check the shock absorber, we install it vertically and lower and raise the shock absorber rod several times until it stops.

The rod should move without dips, jams and knocks. Otherwise, we replace the shock absorber.

If the protective cover and compression buffer are damaged, we replace it.

Replace the upper support in case of severe deformation or local swelling of the rubber.

We replace the support bearing if it is corroded, has axial displacement in the housing or its jamming when cranking.

We collect the amortstoyka in reverse order.

The tightening torque of the shock absorber rod nut is 62 Nm (6.2 kg cm).
