Remove the pump for repair or replacement
Remove the pump drive belt
Drain the fluid from the power steering system, as described in the previous article
Connect the hoses and install the power steering reservoir
We unscrew the fitting of the discharge hose with a key for 17 and disconnect it from the pump
We unscrew the bolt fitting of the inlet hose with a 22 wrench and remove the hose from the pump
There are two copper washers in the joint
We unscrew the two bolts securing the pump with a 17 key and remove the pump
Install the pump in reverse order
Install and adjust the tension of the pump drive belt, fill the system with liquid and pump
Flushing hydraulic booster pump valves
Clean the pump from dirt
Drain the fluid from the power steering system, connect the hoses and put the reservoir back in place
Using the “17” key, we unscrew the discharge hose fitting from the pump
Unscrew the plug with a 27 key
Remove the flow valve spring
Remove the valve body
Without disassembling, we wash the body in gasoline or solvent and blow it with compressed air, after which we install the valve body in reverse order
Fill the power steering system with fluid and remove air from it
